Towny - Installation Guide

Follow these step-by-step instructions to install and configure Oblivyx Studios on your Minecraft server.

Prerequisites

Before you begin: Ensure your server meets these requirements for optimal performance.
  • Minecraft Server: Spigot/Paper 1.21.11
  • Required Plugins: Citizens (free), ItemsAdder (paid), FAWE (free)
  • Optional Plugins: ViaVersion, ViaBackwards
  • Server RAM: Minimum 6GB (8GB+ recommended for 20+ players)
  • World: Fresh world or existing with available space for structures

Required Dependencies

Important: The following plugins must be downloaded and placed in your /plugins folder before starting the server. All other plugins are included in the setup.

Step-by-Step Installation

Download Required Files

Download the Oblivyx Studios setup package and extract all files.

Simple Setup: Just drag and drop the setup files into your server container.

Install Dependencies

Add the required plugins to your plugins folder. All other plugins are included in the setup.

Required Downloads: You need to download Citizens (free), ItemsAdder (paid), and FAWE (free) separately.
  • Citizens: Download from SpigotMC (free)
  • ItemsAdder: Purchase from SpigotMC (required for custom items)
  • FAWE: Download from GitHub (free WorldEdit alternative)

Rebranding

Customize the setup for your server by updating configuration files with your server's information.

Important: Update these files with your server name, Discord link, and store URLs to complete the setup.

Essential Configuration
  • /plugins/Essentials/motd.txt - Server Name, Discord, Forums & Store URL
  • /plugins/dMOTD/config.yml - Server Name
  • /plugins/dMOTD/server-icon.png - Replace with 64x64px server icon
  • /plugins/TAB/config.yml - Server Name, IP, Store URL
